Ann-Marie Holman is a Los Angeles-based leader in community engagement and educational strategies for public agencies, with 18 years of experience in marketing, communications, brand management, and public relations. 

Besides managing agency marketing, communications, social media, and newsletters, she educates local government officials and the public on digital media, outreach, graphic design, and the basics of running for office.

Ann-Marie is currently a member of the Communications team at the City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power - the nation’s largest municipally-owned utility. Previously, she was Director of Communications for the City of Los Angeles Department of Neighborhood Empowerment – primary support agency for LA’s 99 Neighborhood Councils, which together form the grassroots level of LA City government.

Ann-Marie has been involved in Los Angeles government since her election in 2014 to the Echo Park Neighborhood Council, where she served as Chair of the Planning & Land Use Committee. 

Prior to her work with the City of Los Angeles, Ann-Marie was an in-house publicist, spokesperson, brand manager, and SEO expert in the private sector. A Utah native, she attended the University of St Andrews in Scotland, and received her B.A. in Sociology from UCLA.

Ann-Marie’s interests include muscle cars, science fiction, and the LA Dodgers. She is the proud owner of a 1972 Dodge Challenger.
